I have been suffering from this never ending sore throat and coughing since last weekend.
Cough*cough*, sneeze!* sniff*sniff** .....
I have been trying to take more rest, blow my hair dry after the shower ( which i don't do normally ), eat more fruits ... but still, it's not recovering . sien !
When I talked about this to AD, my good old friend since my uni days, he scolded me for not taking care of myself. This is what I deserved for not practising the good "Chinese" habit.
And because of not practising these habits, my body's immune system is becoming weaker.
According to him, I should avoid the belows :
1) drink cold drink.
ah ... I started to drink cold drink again when i came to japan... this country is just to convinient. you can get cold drink everywhere !
2) eat ice-cream, or ice cubes
my god, i just ate a huge soft-cream at the park yesterday ... and biting ice cubes is my hobby bor ... how ah ?
3) eat salty and spicy food
I don't really like salty food lah. but my cooking kaki prefer "stronger" taste lah ( according to him, my cooking is almost tasteless ... ) and we both like spicy food like sambal and curry :P . So, you know the rest of the story lah ...
Instead, I should have :
1) drink more warm water
This is especially important for a girl ( according to him ). If not, later auntie visit sure die woh. ( I already kena hukum liao .... damn torturing now >_<. today almost pengsan at the bus )
2) wear more clothes
ok, i must admit that the warm weather makes me think of Malaysia. And recently i started to wear like i was in Malaysia. Even though it's getting warmer, but the differences of the temperature in a day is quite obvious. It might be extremely hot in the afternoon but kinda cool in the evening. So, next time I will just bring an extra cardigan when i pergi jalan-jalan.
I think, my life style changed quite a lot since I came to japan. Last time when I was in Malaysia, there were too many health cautious ppl around me that keeps remind me of what should I do or don't do. Dont' even have a chance to curi makan . Maybe, I should have kept all these "good" habits ... saya sudah tahu salah lah ... just let me recover from this mess... :)
